The venue was just amazing, all of our gusts commennted on it being the perfect venue. And in fact, many even said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to!
We wouldn't change a thing about our special day, and certainly would'nt hesitate in recommending Crabbs Barn as a wedding venue.
All of your bar staff were also extremely efficient, which ensured there were no long queues at the bar in the evening.

To all at Crabbs Barn,
We just had to write and thank you all for the wonderful day that we all had on Sunday 21st August at our daughter's wedding. We are still on cloud 9.
From start to finish nothing was too much trouble. The wedding was planned in a fairly short time and whenever Emma or myself began to panic or feel stressed, and we phoned the barn for advice, we were always made to feel better by whoever we spoke to at the time.
The day itself ran like clockwork and even the weather was kind to us.
As I arrived with the bridesmaids and saw all the guests sitting around the lovely grounds in their wedding finery, it took my breath away.
When Steve announced that we needed to be seated and the curtains opened the barn looked stunning.
The service was lovely and relaxed. We were all made to feel very special by all of the staff.
The food was great and all the staff were more than helpful.
One little thing for example that meant a lot was that I was a little late to get myself a cuppa after too much chatting and I remarked to the young man serving that I really needed a cup of tea and that I would be back for a refill. Whilst sitting outside I noticed that they were starting to pack away... but the young man came out... teapot in hand and said, ”I remember you said you would be back for another”... little things mean a lot.
The music was excellent and we had the guests dancing all evening. Everyone remarked how lovely it was and some guests even stayed much longer than they had intended... it being Sunday and them having to work in the morning... as they didn’t want to leave.
At the end of the evening everything was all packed up for us and ready to go.
We were even given a couple of tiny crystals that had fallen off of Emma’s dress at the table, so that we could stitch them back on... as I said little things mean a lot!

The pre-wedding help suggestions were spot on, the organisation and service on the day was excellent and everyone had a fantastic and memorable time. I have had several people comment to me that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and although they were talking to us at the time, we do think that they really meant it!
Everything flowed very smoothly and efficiently. The event was very relaxed, the venue visually stunning, the bar service efficient and the DJ entertaining. What more could a bride and groom ask for. Steve was ever in control and an infallible source of help and resources (pins for flowers and dresses etc) and I cannot thank him enough for his subtle, discreet but very professional command of the whole affair.

Dear all At Crabbs Barn,
When we first saw Crabbs Barn we knew this had to be the venue where we were to be married, the venue alone was beautiful. To complement the venue was the outstanding service that we received. We could not have chosen a more perfect place to spend our perfect day. Faultless is one word to describe everything, it went so perfectly, mainly because of Steve and Tracy who run the show. Nerves did not get in the way as both Steve and Tracy ensured everything went smoothly and guided us through the whole day. It was lovely to have received such personal service and to hear compliments from guests throughout the whole day about both the venue and the service of the staff. We were even complimented on how it was the best wedding that most of the guests had been to, although it was our wedding day we would have to agree ha ha!! It meant a lot to us to feel that the day was just as special to the staff at Crabbs Barn as it was to us. We are confident that we would not have received a better service at another venue. We have been to a number of weddings and haven't seen a service as hands on as Crabbs Barn provides. So a big pat on the back to everyone at Crabbs Barn. Dear Mr and Mrs Scott,
I am writing to thank you for making Claire and Neil's wedding day on Friday 17th even more special than we expected.
Steve and Tracy were superb, and their organisational skills ensured everything ran like clockwork. I really could not believe how unobtrusive the support was, so that things were done, drinks served, plates cleared and guests shepherded between the pavilion and the barn without us knowing it was all happening. Brilliant, and my heartfelt thanks to Steve and Tracy for their excellent service.
When we came back on Saturday to pick things up, there they were again making preparations for the wedding in the afternoon. Even though you hold many weddings and it must be routine for you, you still managed to make it seem as if ours was the only one.
My cousin and her husband from Australia, who ran their own hotel and restaurant for over 25 years, told me how impressed they were by the organisation, and that is praise indeed knowing the standards they operated by.

I just wanted to make a point of saying thank you so much for a wonderful wedding reception last month. From the moment we came to view the venue in June 2008 I knew this was the place I wanted to hold our reception (even though it meant moving the wedding back by 9 months!!) I instantly had faith in Crabbs Barn to deliver a perfect day and I wasn't mistaken. I work in events co-ordination myself and therefore am extremely fussy about things being organised in a certain way, but cannot emphasize enough how completely impressed I was from the moment we booked up until the day itself. Dear Geoff, Steve, Tracy and everyone 'behind the scenes' at Crabbs Barn,
We just wanted to write and thank-you all for the part you had to play in making our wedding day so perfect.
Thanks to your superb organisation, everything went exactly to plan and we couldn't have wished for anything better.
Having seen Crabbs Barn on 'Hitched.co.uk' we knew it was the place for us and it was the only venue we ever looked at. We have no regrets at all for not exploring further as it completely lived up to our expectations.
The setting is beautiful and both the grounds and the barn are so well looked after (many of our guests have also commented on this).
Thanks to you all, the day ran really smoothly and everything was exactly as we had hoped; from the placing of the flowers, the setting of the tables and the lighting of the pathway, through to the timings and organisation of the day.
We really appreciate your willingness to tailor-make our day for us.
Everyone we met from your team was friendly, helpful and open to ideas, which left us feeling very calm and confident about what could otherwise have been a very stressful 18 months. (Special thanks go to Steve and Tracy who had that magic touch of being there when we needed them but also discreetly in the background on the day itself - true pros!)
