Crabbs Barn is the perfect venue for your Baby Naming Ceremony Or Christening Party. You will have exclusive use of the entire venue for your special day and we can accomodate most individual requirements to make this special day a truly memorable one.
Crabbs Barn is licenced by the local council to hold naming ceremonies (please contact Braintree Registrar on 01376 323463 for further details).
Sunday hire mid-day to 6pm inclusive £495.00 for your Christening party, or £795.00 for your baby naming party, including ceremony (use of facilities and staff but not the registrars fee).
Here at Crabbs Barn we are not like restaurants - this party goes on all evening starting at 7pm for 7:30pm and finishing at midnight, so make it a cracker, with superb food, great music and the best party atmosphere that is unrivalled, it is the ultimate party experience!
On arrival you will be greeted with a welcoming drink, followed by a superb dinner by candlelight, to a background of seasonal music.
Our DJ will then have you rocking and rolling all night long!

If you are looking for a Traditional Afternoon Tea for your group party, we can happily cater for this special event for you.
Whether it be a Baby Shower, a Ladies Day or a WI meeting, we can accomodate to most individual requirements.
All food is freshly prepared on the premises, and includes a choices of teas, assorted sandwiches, scones served with cream and jam, and homesmade cakes.
The death of a loved one can often leave the close family members with numerous things to think about, at a time when they least feel able.
Here at Crabbs Barn we can take care of all your requirements following the committal.
The venue will be yours exclusively for the period of hire, giving you total privacy.
Our events Co-ordinator will be here to help you in anyway they can, to ensure the day is just as you want it to be.
